Current Position and Past Experience
Diane Longhurst Johnson is the Program Director for The Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health at University of Utah. She is also the Founder and CEO of Eduventec.

Prior to this, she served as President of New Charter University, a position she stepped into after three years as Academic Dean and two years as Chief Academic Officer. Prior to joining the leadership at NCU, Diane was the Director of Innovative Programming and Assessment at Utah State University. Prior to joining USU, Diane spent seven years as the founding Senior Manager of Performance Evaluation at Western Governors University.

In addition to her higher education experience, Diane spent 15 years in K-12 education at the state and local level. She is a nationally recognized speaker/consultant on competency-based education, performance based assessment, evaluator calibration, state authorization, innovative educational models, curriculum & instruction, scalability, higher education access and flexibility, and supporting students with disabilities at all levels.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Diane earned her BS from Utah State University and her MS from Brigham Young University. She earned a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Assessment from James Madison University. She is currently working towards earning her PhD in Instructional Leadership from Utah State University.
