Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2001, Christine Geith has been the Assistant Provost and Executive Director of MSUglobal at Michigan State University. Since 2000, and throughout her time as an administrator, Geith has been a faculty member at the university. From 1991-2001, Geith served as the Director of Distance Learning and Co-Director of the Educational Technology Center at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Geith earned her BS from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. She earned her MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and her PhD from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

She earned the Arena Award at an innovative IT leader from the Center for Digital Education in 2003. In 2005 she earned the Great American Gardeners Award from the American Horticultural Society. In 2013, Geith was named a Sloan Fellow for outstanding leadership in promoting a wide array of technologies and policies needed to advance global education.
