Current Position and Past Experience
Sheila LeBlanc is the Associate Vice President for Continuing Education at the University of Calgary, where she leads a team of dedicated learning professionals to provide high quality educational opportunities to lifelong learners. She has over 20 years experience in progressive leadership and management roles spanning academic leadership, corporate training, academic teaching, business operations, human resources and marketing - in both industry and academia.

Prior to this appointment, she served as a Quality Consultant and Business Instructor at University of New York in Prague. Sheila also worked as the Director of Corporate Learning and Continuing Education at Grant MacEwan University, a Corporate Trainer at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and a Business Faculty member at Capilano University.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Sheila LeBlanc holds a Bachelor of Administrative Studies, a Masters of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and a Doctor of Business Administration from University of Bath.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Outside of work, Sheila loves international travel, great food, great wine and the conversation of friends and family.
