Current Position and Past Experience
Robert T. Monroe is the Director of the Online Hybrid MBA Program at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. He also serves as an Associate Teaching Professor of Business Technologies at the Tepper School. Previously, Dr. Monroe was the Associate Dean for Carnegie Mellon's international branch campus in Doha, Qatar.

Before joining the faculty at Carnegie Mellon, Dr. Monroe worked in the software industry where he led the development and launch of a wide variety of software products and services.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Dr. Monroe holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Philosophy and Computer Science from the University of Michigan.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Dr. Monroe enjoys finding adventure around the world with his family and friends, typically far from the beaten path.
