Ian Roark | Vice Chancellor for Workforce Development and Innovation, Pima Community College

Current Position and Past Experience
Ian Roark currently serves as the Vice Chancellor of Workforce Development and Innovation at Pima Community College. Roark has been with Pima since 2015, serving as Vice President of Workforce Development and Strategic Partnerships, and Vice President of Workforce Development since joining. This followed five years as Dean of Career, Technical and Workforce Education at Odessa College. Prior to this, Roark spend four years as the Director of Career and Technical Education with the Ector County Independent School District.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Ian holds a Bachelor’s degree from Angelo State University and a Master’s in Education/Educational Leadership from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin with Texas certifications in Social Studies, Music, English as a Second Language, and Administration. In 2013, Roark earned his Ed.D from the University of Texas at San Antonio focused on Educational Leadership and Administration.
