Current Position and Past Experience
Tina Goodyear is Chief Operating Officer of the Presidents' Forum at Excelsior College and Executive Director of the Council of Experts. This followed three years as Executive Director of the Center for the Assessment of Post-Traditional Instruction, Training and Learning (CAPITAL) at Excelsior College. Before joining Excelsior, Goodyear was director of the USNY, National College Credit Recommendation Service.

Goodyear currently serves on the NY State Regents Task Force on Competency-Based Education, the expert panel for Empire State College’s Global Learning Qualifications Framework, and the advisory council for the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning’s LearningCounts.org.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Goodyear earned her BA in English from the University of Connecticut in 1989. In 2004, she earned her MS in Secondary Education from SUNY Albany. She expects to earn her EdD in Educational Leadership and Management from Capella University in 2016 and is currently ABD (all-but-dissertation).

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Goodyear volunteers at a local library each week helping job-seekers and displaced workers write resumes and cover letters and build their LinkedIn profiles.
