Stephen Cucchiara | Assistant Director of the Office of Student Activities, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs

Current Position and Past Experience
Since November of 2012, Stephen Cucchiara has been the Assistant Director of the Office of Student Activities at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. His office hosts over 200 programs/activities per year, serves as part of the orientation planning team, oversees fraternity and sorority life and all media-based organizations . Prior to this, Cucchiara served as the Coordinator of Student Organizations and Activities at Western Oregon University where he served on various campus-wide committees, advised the campus programming board, and planned traditional programs such as Homecoming.

Cucchiara has also held assistantship/internship positions at New York University, Hunter College and Radford University.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Cucchiara earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2008. In 2010, he earned his Master of Arts in higher Education/Post-Secondary Administration.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Stephen is involved in the National Association for Campus Activities and serves as the Conference Logistics Coordinator. He presents regionally and nationally on student activities programming trends and ideas. His philosophy is to ensure that programs and activities are 100% student driven. In his spare time, Stephen enjoys running, camping, playing ice hockey, and cooking.
