Current Position and Past Experience
Stan Weisner is currently the Director of Behavioral Health Sciences at UC Berkeley Extension. He got his start in higher education at UC Berkeley in 1975 as a lecturer.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Weisner earned his PhD in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley in 1976.

Weisner was awarded UPCEA's 2012 Outstanding Noncredit Program Award for his Professional Programs in Counseling and Psychotherapy. He was also the recipient of numerous UCEA program awards for his Executive Development Program in the Human Services, as well as for a program called Children and the Changing Family.
