Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2012, Scott Peters has been a Professor of the Cultural Foundations of Education at Syracuse University. In 2012, Peters was also named Co-Director of Imagining America: Artists and Scholars in Public Life.

Prior to this, Peters spent 12 years as a Professor in Cornell University’s Department of Horticulture.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Peters earned his BS in Education from the University of Illinois in 1983. In 1995, he earned his MA in Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota, and in 1998 he earned his PhD in Educational Policy and Administration from the same institution.
