Current Position and Past Experience
Richard Rhodes is the Chancellor of Austin Community College. Since 2011, Rhodes has led ACC with a commitment to close education gaps and accelerate achievement among all students.

Previously, he was President of El Paso Community College, and a Vice President of Business Services at Salt Lake Community College.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Rhodes earned a BBA in Accounting and a Master of Art’s in Educational Management and Development from New Mexico State University.

He earned his Doctorate through the Community College Leadership Program at the University of Texas at Austin.
