Current Position and Past Experience
Rebekah Woods became the sixth president for CBC in November 2017. Prior to joining CBC, she was the Provost at Jackson College in Jackson, Michigan. With over 25 years of experience in higher education, Woods has also served as an executive dean of instruction, dean of arts and sciences along with dean of student and academic support and strategic enrollment management. Prior to entering higher education, Woods practiced law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Woods holds a doctor of philosophy in organizational leadership and a Juris Doctor from Regent University and a bachelor of arts in psychology from Albion College.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Woods and her husband live in the Tri-Cities in in the heart of Washington Wine Country. They enjoy a growing culinary scene, listening to live music, and spending time with their three rescue pups.
