Current Position and Past Experience
Philomena Mantella is currently President of Grand Valley State University. Prior, she spent nearly 20 years at Northeastern University. In 2001, she was Senior Vice President and CEO of the Northeastern University Global Network for 15 years before becoming Senior Vice President and CEO of Northeastern University’s Lifelong Learning Network in 2016. Prior to Northeastern, Mantella was Executive Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Life.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Mantella holds a Doctor of Philosophy in College and University Administration from Michigan State University. She also has a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Syracuse University.
