Current Position and Past Experience
Ofer Sharone is currently the Mitsubishi Career Development Professor at MIT Sloan School of Management. Holding the position since 2009, Sharone researches and teaches on careers, employment, negotiations, social media and labor markets. Sharone founded and heads the Institute for Career Transitions
Prior to joining MIT, Sharone was a Lecturer at University of California, Berkeley and a Visiting Professor at Mills College.
Sharone served as an Attorney with Nagashima & Hashimoto from 1999-2003.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Sharone has a PhD in Sociology from University of California, Berkeley and a JD from Harvard Law School.
