Current Position and Past Experience
Mike Hammer is veteran corporate executive, innovator, entrepreneur, technologist, author, leader and proven solutions architect for complex business and performance challenges. He is the founder and managing partner of SP3M Group which helps organizations improve business performance to create value by using a custom blend of contingent talent services, consultative project leadership, talent development methods and design of ongoing performance support tools. SP3M creates value by improving retention, reducing turnover, fewer days of revenue loss from high performance job openings and blending multi-generational and multi-cultural performance teams to align with business strategy.

Hammer’s blend of experience includes more than a decade as a corporate newspaper publishing executive in major market, as an entrepreneur with several start-ups and franchising before a technology career in data com and design/build of large raised floor data centers. Most recently he was the Division Director of Professional Services and Vertical Financial Services at RWD Technologies, now a division of GP. This position came on the heels of his time as the Manager of Channel Development and Consulting at MicroTek. For six years prior to MicroTek, Hammer was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Wel.com. Inc., d/b/a Knowledge Development Centers of Atlanta.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Hammer earned his degree in Engineering from the University of Kansas.

He served honorably in the US Navy.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Hammer is a proud grandfather who enjoys oil painting and reading. He keeps close tabs on global economics, talent/learning technologies, and is a history buff.
