Current Position and Past Experience
Mary Kelty is the Director of the Center for Learning Design and Technology with Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals.
Kelty has more than 15 years of higher education experience in program development and administration, including more than a decade of practical experience supporting and developing online and web-enhanced instruction for graduate-level applied science programs.
Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Kelty served as Administrative Director of Professional Programs in the office of Continuing and Professional Studies at University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Kelty holds a MA from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. In 2013, she completed the Online Learning Consortium’s Institute for Emerging Leaders in Online Learning.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Kelty spends her free time hanging out with her husband and Clancy, their Newfoundland puppy. When she's not caring for the two “men” in her life, Kelty enjoy gardening, cooking, traveling and doing volunteer work.
