Current Position and Past Experience
Marian Chaney is is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Analytics and Institutional Reporting at the Lone Star College System. She has been with Lone Star since 2011, formerly serving as the Executive Director for Strategy and Governance.

Chaney has over 19 years of higher education IT experience and has held diverse leadership roles including Director of Instructional Technology, Director of Business Intelligence, Executive Director of IT Operations and Executive Director of Client Relations.

Prior to joining Lone Star, Chaney was a criminal defense attorney in the Kansas City area.

Chaney speaks nationally on a diversity of topics including change management, project management, business intelligence, customer relations management, strategic planning and governance.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Chaney received her BSBA in 1987 from Rockhurst University. In 1992, she completed her J.D. at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
