Current Position and Past Experience
Marc Singer is the Director of the Petrocelli Center for Continuing Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University. This follows three years as Dean of the School of Undergraduate Studies at Golden Gate University. Prior to this, he served as Vice Provost of the Center for the Assessment of Learning at Thomas Edison State University from 2010. Before this, Singer spent three years as the Associate Director of Academic Initiatives at The College Board. This followed four years as a Test Developer and Program Administrator with the Educational Testing Service. Prior to that, he taught history and humanities at colleges in New Jersey and North Carolina.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Singer earned his BA from Oberlin College in 1985. In 1992, he earned his MA in American Studies from the University of Alabama. He also has an M.Phil from New York University.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Marc is a former artist and performer who drifted into higher ed in search of an audience. He has contributed to radio and television productions, developed museum exhibitions, and operated an underground performance space. He has two sons.
