Current Position and Past Experience
Lynette J. Olson is the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Pittsburg State University. Dr. Olson is also a Professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences specializing in Human Development, Family Relations, and Family Life Education.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Olson earned her BCE in Christian Education from Ozark Christian College. She earned her MS in Student Personnel and Guidance from Oklahoma State University and her PhD in Family Life Education and Consultation from Kansas State University.
