Current Position and Past Experience
Liz Dietz is currently Vice President for Strategy and Product Management at Workday, where she is responsible for the strategy and design of the Workday Student.
Prior to joining Workday, Liz served as Vice President for Higher Education at CedarCrestone where she established their Higher Education Workday practice. Before joining CedarCrestone in 2010, Liz was the General Manager of
www.edu1world.org, a SaaS enterprise social media site for higher education. Liz was also President and Chief Executive Officer for Xap Corporation, a SaaS internet content and technology company that builds and hosts College Access Portals like CSUMentor.edu and California Colleges.edu, Career Planning products like Bridges Choices, and test preparation products such as Number2.com and TestGear. Prior to joining Xap, Liz was a VP/General Manager for PeopleSoft, managing the Campus Solutions Product Division. In 1997 Liz joined PeopleSoft via the acquisition of Campus Solutions, where she was a founding partner of the software and consulting company that developed PeopleSoft’s Student Administration software products.
Liz also spent more than 10 years at University of California, Los Angeles and Loyola Marymount Universities where she was responsible for designing, developing and implementing student information systems, as well as serving two years as Associate Director, Financial Aid.
