Current Position and Past Experience
Kristina ‘KP’ Powers is currently the President of The Institute for Effectiveness in Higher Education and has been in this position since 2002. Leveraging her federal data expertise, she also has been an IPEDS National Trainer for over a decade. Throughout her 20+ year career in higher education, Powers has served at multiple colleges and universities as well as higher education organizations such as WASC Senior College and University Commission and the Association for Institutional Research.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Powers holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration and a certificate in Instituitonal Research from Florida State University. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Polticial Science, International Studies and International Business from SUNY Brockport.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Kristina enjoys gardening, traveling, and hiking with her husband.
