Current Position and Past Experience
Katie Zaback is a Senior Policy Analyst with the State Higher Education Executive Officers Association (SHEEO), a position she has held since 2010. Prior to this position, Zaback spent a year as a Research Analyst with JVA Consulting. This followed her time as the CSEQ Project Associate at Indiana University Bloomington’s Center for Postsecondary Research. Zaback got her start as an Academic Analyst at Regis University, where she worked from 2003-2006.

Education, Honors and Achievements
In 2003, Zaback earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from Hastings College. She earned her Master’s Certificate in Database Design from Regis University in 2006. In 2009, she completed her MPA with a focus in Policy Analysis at Indiana University Bloomington.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Katie is actively involved in a number of organizations committed to helping youth and adults live more productive lives. Currently, she is chairman of the board of YouthRoots. She is also an active mentor and volunteer with Colorado Youth at Risk and she is part of the Mile High United Way’s Emerging Leader’s Council.
