Current Position and Past Experience
Juliette Punchello is the Director of Academic Advising at Thomas Edison State University. She has been at TESU since 1999, previously serving as Director of the Learner Support Center and Manager of the Office of Enrollment Management.

Over her years in higher education, she has built a culture of excellence and teamwork through open communication, respect for staff insight, and implementation of process improvements based on this feedback. She implements innovative uses of new technology (electronic bulletin board, team website for training and resources, wireless headsets, face-to-face chat capabilities, phone survey). Her experience is focused on higher education call-center management procedures and best practices.

Punchello has been accepted to present at international and national conferences regarding innovative student services to students at a distance. She presented Ready, Set, Go! Designing and Operationalizing a One Stop Service/Call Center in 12 Months! at the 19th Annual Sloan Consortium International Conference on Online Learning in 2013. In 2012, she presented Calling all Techies & Non-Techies … Start to Finish in One Year: Virtual One Stop Student Service Center at AACRAO's Strategic Enrollment Management Conference. She also presented Virtual One Stop Service Center: Serving Our Students-Virtually! at the 18th Annual Sloan Consortium International Conference on Online Learning in 2012.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Punchello earned her MA in Professional Communication from LaSalle University and her MS in Educational Instruction from Drexel University. She earned a BS in Communications from Drexel University.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Punchello is active in her community and is a Fellow of the Leadership Trenton Class of 2008.
