Current Position and Past Experience
Joseph Moreau is the Vice Chancellor of Technology at Foothill-De Anza Community College District. He has held this position since 2012. He also serves as Executive Sponsor for the California Community Colleges Online Education Initiative – a statewide initiative to improve online instruction and support services for California’s 113 community colleges.

Prior to this, he was the Chief Technology Officer at SUNY Oswego. He has also served as the Dean of Academic Information Services at MiraCosta College and as the Dean of Learning Resources at West Hills College.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Moreau earned his BA at the University of California, San Diego in 1989. In 1995, he completed his MA at California State University Los Angeles.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Outside of work, Moreau enjoys working on home improvements and hiking in the redwood forest surrounding his home with his wife, Susana, and his Newfoundland, Max.
