Current Position and Past Experience
Jeremy Epstein is currently a Senior Computer Specialist at SRI International. He has held this position since 2009. Epstein is also on loan as a Program Officer at the National Science Foundation.

Prior to this, Epstein was the Principal Security Consultant with Cigital. He has also served as an independent consultant, as the Senior Director of Product Security and Performance at Software AG (formerly webMethods) and as the Manager of Network Security Research at Trusted Information Systems.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Epstein earned his BS from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 1980. In 1981, he completed his MS at Purdue University. Epstein completed his coursework for a PhD in Information Security from George Mason University.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Epstein is the Director of Scholarship Programs at Applied Computer Security Associates, Inc., where he founded the Scholarships for Women Studying Information Security.
