Current Position and Past Experience
Jennifer Hermann is the Director of Human Resources and Occupational Health Services at the UC San Francisco Medical Center. Prior to her current position, she was the corporate Employment Manager for UCSF Stanford HealthCare responsible for the professional recruitment for Stanford Hospital and Clinics, Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital, UCSF Medical Center and Mount Zion Hospital. Ms. Hermann also served in various healthcare administrative roles including nursing administration, project management, and workforce redesign at UCSF Medical Center. Her clinical nursing background includes cardio-vascular, transplant, emergency and medical-surgical nursing.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Hermann earned her undergraduate degree at Indiana University in nursing and her master’s degree in nursing administration at University of California San Francisco.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Active in many organizations, she is a founding member of the Coalition for Nursing Careers in California (CNCC), whose focus is to attract individuals into the profession of Nursing. She is also a member of the Association of California Nurse Leaders and the Society for Human Resources Managers. She is a former ACNL Board Member for northern California. She currently is a member of the San Francisco Workforce Investment Board and Chairs the San Francisco Healthcare Workforce Subcommittee.
