Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2014, Jeffrey Czarnec has served as the Associate Dean of Criminal Justice and the Social Sciences in the College of Online and Continuing Education at Southern New Hampshire University. Czarnec started at Southern New Hampshire University as the Assistant Dean of Ethics and Legal Studies. For a brief period of time, Czarnec served as the Program Director of the Criminal Justice Department at Lebanon College. Czarnec also held positions Kaplan University as Associate Dean for Public Safety and at Hesser College as the Department Chairman and Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice. Before his academic career, Czarnec served as a Police Officer of the City of Manchester for 23 years.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Czarnec earned an A.S. Criminal Justice, SUNY, Farmingdale, LI, NY, a B.S. Criminal Justice, St. Anselm College, NH, M.S. Human Services Administration, Springfield College, and his doctorate of Arts in Leadership Studies from Franklin Pierce University, NH. His dissertation was a participatory investigation with upper echelon members of Boston Irish and Italian Organized Crime gangs.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
I am an avid guitarist, writer, actor and recently wrote and produced a documentary in Boston. In addition, I am an on-air consultant with WGBH’s “Greater Boston” television talk-show and a frequent guest-host on WLMW,90.7. I have been deeply involved in community activism with a local minority business group know as “Latinos on the Move” and continue to consult with and guide immigrant/refugee students regarding their career pursuits. I am married and have four grown children and four grandchildren.
