Current Position and Past Experience
Jeff Senese has been the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Johnson and Wales University since 2009. Prior to this, he spent four years as the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Philadelphia University. He also held the Vice President for Academic Affairs role at Mount Ida College, where he served from 2001-2005.

This came on the heels of his time as the Director of Academic Affairs and Chief Academic Officer at Penn State University, where he worked from 1999-2001. Senese’s start in higher education administration came at the University of Baltimore, where he served as the Associate Dean of the Yale Gordon College from 1991-2000.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Senese earned his BS in Administration of Justice from Penn State University in 1981. In 1988 he earned his MA in Criminology from Indiana State University and in 1992 he earned his PhD in Methods/Statistics and Criminal Justice from Michigan State University.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Senese is a Board member of Education of Education in Action Providence, the Workforce Investment Board of Cranston/Providence and the Implementation Providence Innovation Council.
