Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2010, Janet Harreld has been the Grant Manager for Workforce Training and Continuing Education at San Jacinto College. Prior to this, she spent five years as the Director of Continuing Education for the Southwest Center at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. This followed seven years where she served as a Program Director and Graduate Faculty Member at Tulane University.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Harreld earned her BA in Theatre from Loyola University of Chicago in 1979. She earned an MA in Tech Theatre in 1978 from Northwestern University and an MFA in Design from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She earned her MPA in Management and Non-Profit Organizations from the Sate University of New York at Albany in 1992.
