Current Position and Past Experience
Hope Hartman is currently a Professor of Educational Psychology at the City College of New York. Since 1998 she has also been a Professor at the City University of New York Graduate Center. Formerly she was Director of the City College Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and Director of the City College Tutoring and Cooperative Learning Program.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Hartman earned her BA in Psychology from Ohio State University in 1969. She earned her PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Rutgers University.
She is the author of five books, the most recent of which is “A Guide to Reflective Practice for New and Experienced Teachers”, McGraw-Hill, 2009 and has authored peer reviewed articles, chapters, test reviews and an encyclopedia article.
