Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Florida Starks served as an Area Manager in charge of Business-Government Customer Operations and Business Finance operations with Verizon Wireless for over 20 years. She currently serves as an Education Leader with Grason Consulting Global. Since 2012, Stark has been a contributing Author for the About Leaders website.

From 1993-2010, Starks worked with Ameritech Cellular where she was an Assistant Manager of Business and Learning Development. Before this, she was a Regional Account Manager and Trainer at Bencharge Financial.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Starks earned her BA in Human Resource Management from Lindenwood University in 2005. In 2010, she earned her Masters in Adult Education Management from Strayer University. She earned her PhD in Leadership for Higher Education from Capella University in 2012.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Starks is an active board member and supporter of organizations such as Association for Talent Development, Women’s Association of Verizon Employees, Urban League of Greater Atlanta, Robert Fulton Development and Matthews-Dickey Boys and Girls Club.
