Current Position and Past Experience
Daniel Umstead is currently a Career Services Advisor at Kaplan Career Institute. Prior to this, Umstead was the Director of Education at The School of Court Reporting, a post he held for one year.

Prior to this, Umstead was the Student Services Coordinator at Kaplan. This came on the heels of the two years he spent as the Program Coordinator of the Communities In Schools Of Philadelphia.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Umstead earned a BA in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University at University Park. He completed his MS in Higher Education at Kaplan University in 2011.
