Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2008, Dan Pontefract has been the Senior Director of Learning and Collaboration at TELUS, where he is responsible for the overarching learning and collaboration strategy for the company. Prior to this, Pontefract served as the Senior Director of the University of Business Intelligence, under the management of Crystal Decisions, Business Objects and SAP.

Pontefract spent four years in higher education as the Development Director and Program Head of the High-Tech Professional Department at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Pontefract earned his BA and BEd in 1994 from McGill University. In 1995 he earned a degree in Educational Technology from the same institution and in 2002 he completed an MBA in Management Technology from Royal Roads University.
