Current Position and Past Experience
Curtis J. Bonk is Professor of Instructional Systems Technology in the School of Education at Indiana University and adjunct in the School of Informatics. He is also President of CourseShare.

He has coauthored several widely used technology books, including The World Is Open: How Web Technology is Revolutionizing Education (2009), Online Learning: 100+ Activities for Reading, Reflecting, Displaying, and Doing (2008), The Handbook of Blended Learning (2006), and Electronic Collaborators (1998).

Education, Honors and Achievements
Bonk earned his BA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1981. In 1987 he earned his MS in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He returned to the Madison campus to complete his PhD in Educational Psychology in 1989.

He received the CyberStar Award from the Indiana Information Technology Association, the Most Outstanding Achievement Award from the U.S. Distance Learning Association, and the Most Innovative Teaching in a Distance Education Program Award from the State of Indiana.
