Current Position and Past Experience
Charles Prober is currently the Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education at Stanford University’s School of Medicine. Prior to this, Prober served as the Associate Chair of Pediatrics at the Stanford School of Medicine.

Prober is interested in medical education at the undergraduate, medical school, residency, and fellowship level. His educational focus has centered on microbiology and infectious diseases and on the education of clinical research scientists.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Prober earned his MD at the University of Manitoba in 1973.

He is the recipient of the Henry J, Kaiser Award for Clinical Teaching and the Henry J. Kaiser Award for Preclinical Teaching, granted by the Stanford University School of Medicine.
