Current Position and Past Experience
Bonnie Covelli is currently an Assistant Professor and Chair of Graduate and Degree Completion programs in the College of Business & Health Administration at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois and has been with St. Francis for almost 15 years. Covelli also chairs St. Francis’s Business Incubator program. Some of her previous roles at St. Francis include; Director of the School of Professional Studies, Program Coordinator and Director of the Solutions Resource Center.
Covelli is an active consultant in the areas of strategic and business planning, needs assessment, training and development, and online learning.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Covelli holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Elmhurst College, as well as an MBA in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University. She also holds a Master of Science in Training and Development from the University of St. Francis and an EdD in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Governors State University. Covelli was recently honored with the Meritorious Service Award from the Association for Continuing Higher Education (ACHE).
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Covelli is an active volunteer in her regional community and serves several state and national organizations in continuing higher education.
