Current Position and Past Experience
Ben Cannon is the Executive Director of the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission. He has held this position since 2013.

Prior to this, Cannon was the Education Policy Advisor to Governor John Kitzhaber and also served an elected state representative from the 46th district in the Oregon House of Representatives.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Cannon completed a BA at Washington University in St. Louis in 1999. In 2003, he earned his MA at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, focusing on Comparative and International Education.
