Current Position and Past Experience
Tracy Kittilsen is Manager of Extended Learning in the Faculty of Agriculture at Dalhousie University, a position she has held since May 2017. In this capacity, Kittilsen provides vision and encourages innovation in the delivery of high quality, flexible work-based learning solutions for adult learners in agriculture and related industries in Atlantic Canada and beyond.
Prior to taking on her current role, Kittilsen, served as Program Manager in the Faculty of Agriculture at Dalhousie University, where she managed a portfolio of skills training initiatives for the agricultural industry, including workshops, apprenticeship training, and other non-credit offerings.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Tracy Kittilsen holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture-Horticulture from Nova Scotia Agricultural College and a Master’s degree in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Tracy has a keen interest in rural community development and has been involved in several non-profit organizations both at the local and provincial level. She has been involved in the 4-H program for close to 20 years. Kittilsen and her family live on a small farm outside of Truro, NS.
