Current Position and Past Experience
Tonya Perry is currently Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Miles College and has been in the role since January 2024. Previously, she was Vice Provost at Miles College. Prior, she was a professor at University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Perry holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Education Leadership with a concentration in English and secondary curriculum from both the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also holds a Master of Arts in English Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
