Current Position and Past Experience
Themis Kaniklidou is currently Provost and CAO at Hellenic American University and has been in the position since June 2021. She is also Associate Professor of Language and Communication Studies. Previously, she held several positions at Hellenic American University, from Academic Director of the Master of Arts in Translation to PhD Associate Director. Prior, she was Director at Hellenic American College.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Kaniklidou holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Language and Communication from National Kapodistrian University of Athens. She also holds a Master of Arts in Literature from University of Surrey, and a Bachelor of Arts in Translation from Ionian Panepistimion.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Kaniklidou loves philosophy and ethics; she is co-coach of the Hellenic American University debate team and looks for creative ways to bring philosophy closer to students. She is a strong advocate of liberal arts education, and loves good movies and skiing.
