Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Simone Rodriguez, Vice President for Workforce Development, Continuing Education and Strategic Partnerships at Kingsborough Community College has more than 20 years of professional experience working with youth and adults in higher education. She has presented at regional, national and international conferences focusing on pre-college programs, workforce development, adult and continuing education.
Dr. Rodriguez provides strategic leadership and vision for the expansion of workforce development, continuing education and the development of community partnerships. She currently presides over 15 federal, state, city and privately-funded programs and has held positions at private and public institutions in New York and New Jersey.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Vice President Rodriguez holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from Walden University. She also has a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Law from Binghamton University, SUNY.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Dr. Rodriguez serves as a Girl Scouts Troop Leader, enjoys spending time with family and friends, mindful walking and professionally serves an an evaluator for Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
