Current Position and Past Experience
Ritu Saksena is currently the Associate Dean for Graduate Education in the College of Continuing and Professional Studies at University of Minnesota and has been in the position since 2019. Ritu joined the College of Continuing and Professional Studies in 2013 as the Director of Graduate Programs and in these roles, Ritu has greatly expanded the graduate education portfolio, led the development of several market responsive degree and certificate programs and built several intra-institutional partnerships.

Prior to that, she worked at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and University of Maryland, College Park. Her professional career spans publishing, research, teaching and academic leadership.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Saksena holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Comparative Literature from University of Maryland. She also has a Master of Philosophy in English from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Delhi University.
