Current Position and Past Experience
Rebekah Paré consults with higher education leaders to elevate and transform career services to strategically advance universities’ value propositions, alumni engagement, academic integration (career readiness competencies), external reach with businesses and community partners, and students’ career outcomes. She held positions as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Career Education and Development at Washington University in St. Louis and the Associate Dean for SuccessWorks at the College of Letters & Science at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and co-led the Big Ten Academic Alliance Liberal Arts and Sciences Career Initiatives Peer Group. Rebekah has consulted with 25+ institutions across the globe on the career services transformation efforts.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Paré holds a Master of Arts in both Musicology and German Literature from the University of Wisconin-Madison, and is ABD in both fields. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in German and Piano Performance from the University of New Hampshire. She has completed trainings in leading with racial equity, project management, change management, and facilititative leadership.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
When she is not playing with her two kids, Paré enjoys wine tasting with her husband, and playing piano with the 19-piece all female swing band, Ladies Must Swing.
