Current Position and Past Experience
Nicole Westrick is currently Assistant Vice President and Dean of the College of Interdisciplinary & Continuing Studies at Morgan State University. Prior, she was Associate Vice Provost and an Adjunct Public Speaking Professor at Temple University. Before taking on her current role, Westrick served as Senior Manager for Non-Credit Operations and Technical Support at Temple University. For a brief period in her career, Westrick was part of the Mid-Atlantic Conference Planning Committee for the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA). For four years, Westrick was a Business Solution Manager for Johns Hopkins University. Westrick started at Johns Hopkins University as a Training Specialist.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Westrick earned her B.A. in Communications and Theater from the University of Pittsburgh and a MPM in Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Westrick earned a Skilled Facilitator Certificate from Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University. Westrick is on track to earn a Ph.D. in Communication and Media Studies from Temple University in 2018.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Westrick volunteers her time in her community by serving as the Wise Penny Thrift Store Committee Chair for the Junior League of Baltimore and is on the Board of Directors for the Fluid Movement.
