Current Position and Past Experience
Nazlin Hirji is currently Executive Director of Continuing and Professional Studies at Sheridan College. Prior to Sheridan, she was at Humber College for eight years serving as Director of Continuing Education in the School of Health Sciences as well as nursing professor. Prior to academia, including practicing as a front-line nurse and Infection Control Practitioner, Hirji was been a Patient Care Manager at the Scarborough Hospital and Director of Nursing at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Hirji holds a Master of Nursing and a Master of Science in Health Services Research from the University of Toronto. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ryerson University. Hirji also won the Award of Excellence in Nursing Administration,from the Sigma Theta Tau International, Lamda-Pi-At-Large Chapter; University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Nazlin enjoys anything that enables her to constantly improve, including pursing a healthy lifestyle; reading, taking courses, and listening to podcasts to learn new skills; and spending quality time with family and friends. She believes this is why she loves her work– because continuing education is all about learning new knowledge and skills and pursuing the next version of yourself.
