Miko Nino | Assistant Vice President of Adult and Online Education, Rhode Island College

Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Miko Nino is currently Assistant Vice President of Adult and Online Education at Rhode Island College and has been in the position since October 2022. He is also Adjunct Faculty. Previously, he was Director of Online Learning and Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of North Carolina Pembroke. Prior, he held several roles at Virginia Tech, including Instructional Designer and Training Manager.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Dr. Nino holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Instructional Design and Technology, and a Graduate Certificate in Learning Science from Virginia Tech. He also holds a Master of Arts in Instructional Systems Development from University of Maryland Baltimore County, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Lindenwood University.

This year, he was named one of the 40 Under 40 by the Providence Business News for his career and accomplishments in online and adult education. 

Personal Details and Community Involvement
In his spare time, he loves to cook new recipes, travel and spend time with his family.
