Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Michelle Caron has 20 years experience developing, training and teaching multiple successful Business, Education, and STEM programs in traditional, hybrid, and online settings for academic institutions, government agencies, and the private sector. Dr. Caron began her work with SNHU as an adjunct faculty member in 2005 prior to joining SNHU administration as Director & Assistant Dean of Graduate Business in 2014. Michelle has also held leadership positions in two Fortune 500 companies in logistics and retail industries.

As an experienced international visiting professor and speaker, accomplished author, associate editor, reviewer, and consultant, she has presented for the DOE, ACBSP, NHBEA, NEA, and several colleges and conferences. Michelle’s publications include journal articles, conference papers, book chapters, and blogs on such topics as the globalization of education, labor market efficiency, rapidly developing economies, corporate governance, and student engagement.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Dr. Caron earned her Ph.D. in International Business with a Strategy minor and M.S. in Business Education from Southern New Hampshire University. Michelle also earned a Leaders of Learning certificate from Harvard University. She attained the distinction of a Certified Professional Coach from the International Coach Federation and is a member of the Academy of International Business and New Hampshire Women in Higher Education Leadership. Her current research interests are refugee/migrant education, neuroeducation, and alternative learning pathways such as industry-recognized, verifiable digital microcredentials aligned to professional associations.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Michelle loves to explore new travel destinations, hiking, movies, and truly enjoys a good read. She also volunteers much of her time to her parish community.
