Current Position and Past Experience
Meredith Twombly serves as the Dean of Enrollment and Retention at Hampshire College. Before stepping into this role, Twombly was the College’s Director of Institutional Research. Prior to that, Twombly taught Sociology and Research Methods at Greenfield Community College, worked as an independent enrollment management research consultant, was Director of Institutional Research and Assessment Specialist at Quinsigamond Community College, and worked in college admissions as a counselor early in her career.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Twombly earned her B.A. in Sociology from Framingham State College (’94) and her M.S. in Sociology from Portland State University (’01).

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Outside of working a little too much, Meredith enjoys hiking, running, 90’s alt rock bands and reading about business, education, and the future. Best of all, she enjoys having an occasional day with no plans, no expectations.
