Current Position and Past Experience
Lara Madden currently serves as the Professional Development and Community Coordinator at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) Academic Innovations and eLearning. Before stepping into her current role, Madden was an Instructional Technologist at UAA. Madden started her career at the University of Alaska Anchorage as a Student Services Coordinator. For three years, Madden served the Center for Human Development as the TAPESTRY Postsecondary Transition Program Student Services Coordinator.
In 2011-2013, Madden was Technology Chair of the University of Alaska Anchorage Graduate Student Association.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Madden earned her B.A. in History and her Graduate Certificate in eLearning and Technology from the University of Alaska. She also earned her M.Sc. in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Alaska.
In 2012, Madded was awarded the 18th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Student Appreciation Citation as Technology Chair for the UAA Graduate Student Association.
