Current Position and Past Experience
Kelly Smith currently serves as the President of Baker College of Cadillac. Over the course of her career, Smith has held a number of positions across the education space, in primary, secondary and postsecondary education. Before stepping into her current role, Smith served as an Early Childhood Education Instructor and a Director of Career Services at Baker College of Owosso.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Smith earned her BSc in Elementary Education with a minor in Developmental Learning from Saginaw Valley State University. Smith earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. She went on to earn her PhD in Educational Leadership from Michigan State University.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Smith helps in her community by participating in the Relay for Life, collaborating with local Red Cross on food and blood drives and being the Cadillac Chamber Board President.
