Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Kathleen Ives currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Online Learning Consortium. Ives has worked in online technology for over 20 years and also serves on the Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning. She also participates in the EdSurge Advisory Group, the Executive Strategic Council for IMS Global Learning Consortium and the Leadership Advisory Board for the Center for Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions. Ives concurrently is an Adjunct Faculty Member for Graduate and Undergraduate Business Programs at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.

For a short time, Ives was the Director of Alternative Instruction at Quinsigamond Community College. This followed 14 years designing and implementing consumer online information services at AT&T and at Verizon. Ives started her career at CBS and helped to develop the service that evolved into Prodigy.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Ives earned her BA in Communications from the University of California, Davis and her MA in Communication Management from the University of Southern California. In 2004, Ives earned her Doctor of Management and Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.
